Rescue Diver

Diving is a relatively safe activity.  However, just like with any other activity things can go wrong.  When it does, will you know how to respond properly?  Perhaps your loved one has a heart attack in the water.  Would you know how to get him or her to shore or the boat?  Could you provide rescue breathing as you tow him or her.  What if someone was unconscious underwater.  Could you get them to the surface?

The Rescue Diver Class will teach you to do all of those things and more.  The techniques learned in this class will allow you to properly assist another diver at or below the surface who needs help.

In this class you will learn how to deal with cramping, tired divers, unconscious divers, panicked divers, and more.  This is probably the most rewarding of all of the classes taught because it provides you with the knowledge to perhaps save a life.

The duration of this class is 4 to 5 days.  The minimum prerequisites are certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver and certification in Emergency First Response.
